About the course

Course Description

The ETC University Foundation Programme in Engineering is aimed at students wishing to enter a UK university. The course prepares students for studying at degree level.

Students will study content in relation to the following subject areas:

Engineering Maths
Engineering Project
Electrical and Electronic Principles and Application
Mechanical Principles and Application
Safe Engineering Processes and Practices
Engineering English and Academic Skills

It is possible for students to substitute modules from other UFP programmes depending on the student’s needs.

Course Duration

24 weeks. Please note, some classes may be delivered online. 36 week course available in combination with English for Academic Purposes classes.

Entry Requirements

You will need an RQF Level 2 or equivalent (AS-Levels / High School Diploma).

English Entry Qualification:
5.0 IELTS or equivalent

Certificate

Upon successful completion of the course you will be presented with a University Foundation Diploma in Business.

This course is designed for students wishing to study Business and related subjects at undergraduate level at a UK-based university.

Experienced Staff

Staff hold a relevant qualification at least one level above the subject level they are teaching and hold a relevant teaching qualification.

Staff come from a range of backgrounds, including academic and industry specialisms. From time to time we may invite guest lecturers or subject specific specialists to take lectures / seminars.

Staff teaching English modules hold a CELTA or CertTESOL qualification.
