ETC's English for the Energy Industry course supports learners working across oil, gas, renewable energy and alternative fuel sectors. The programme is designed for students and professionals involved in energy production, distribution, engineering, branding, environmental protection, business strategy and related technical or commercial roles.
The course develops the specialist English used throughout the global energy sector, helping learners communicate clearly about technologies, safety, regulation, environmental impact, market behaviour and future energy developments. Students build the vocabulary and confidence needed to engage in discussions, presentations, meetings and technical explanations within an energy industry context.
Modules can be taken individually or combined for a comprehensive overview, allowing students to focus on the areas most relevant to their professional needs. The programme provides practical, task based learning using real world energy scenarios to build both accuracy and fluency.
