About the course

Course Description

ETC's English for Human Resources course equips learners with the specialist language and communication skills required to work effectively in HR, personnel management and people focused business environments. Designed for HR managers, HR staff, recruiters and personnel agency professionals, the programme develops the English needed to manage recruitment, employee relations, staff development, remuneration and workplace communication.

The course builds confidence in handling typical HR tasks such as interviewing candidates, running appraisal meetings, writing reports, managing staff issues, explaining contracts and leading discussions on rewards, benefits and workplace policies. Learners develop practical skills using real world scenarios, targeted vocabulary and professional communication strategies used across the HR sector.

This programme also prepares participants for further study in Human Resources or Personnel Management and supports those wishing to take business related English examinations, including Cambridge BEC or BULATS.
