About the course

Course Description

ETC's English for Environmental Protection course is designed for learners working in environmental science, sustainability, biodiversity, agriculture, land management and eco focused industries. The programme develops the specialist language and communication skills required to discuss environmental issues, analyse data, explain scientific processes and contribute to conversations about global environmental challenges.

Students gain confidence communicating in areas such as ecosystems, pollution, climate, energy resources, soil science, waste management, sustainability and biodiversity. The course explores the terminology and language styles unique to environmental science, helping learners prepare for further study, professional work or interdisciplinary collaboration.

This programme can also be combined with ETC’s English for the Energy Industry and English for Agriculture and Earth Sciences courses for a broader environmental training pathway
