Parent & Child Programme // Junior Courses

Available for parents studying with their children aged 8 - 11.

Our Parent & Child Programme includes General English for younger junior students who have parents studying with us on the same Standard General English timetable. We provide English courses available for junior students between the ages of 8 and 11. Parents must study at the same time as their children. The Parent & Child Programme is tuition-only, meaning families must source their own accommodation during their time at ETC. This course offers 15 hours of tuition per week.

This course is for parents studying with their children aged 8 - 11 years old. If your child is 12 years old or older, they will need to attend the Junior Programme. Junior classes will be allocated according to age.

Parental Responsibilities

The ETC Parent & Child Programme is designed for parents and their children when the children are aged between 8 – 11.
In order to participate in the programme, all parents must escort their children to class and collect them after class has finished. ETC only takes responsibility for children aged 8 – 11 during lesson time.

Parents understand the need to be with their children at all times. In order to be accepted on the Family Programme, parents must also take English classes which are arranged on the same timetable as their children.

Accommodation Options

Families must source their own accommodation whilst enrolled on the Family Programme.

ETC is able to recommend a number of accommodation providers in the area but accommodation bookings must be made directly with the provider, not via ETC.

Important Information

  • Parents take full responsibility for their children outside lesson times and agree to supervise their children whenever on ETC premises.
  • By booking the family programme, parents understand that students aged 18+ will also be on-site.
  • Children must travel and study with their parents.
  • ETC requires a minimum of 2 children per class to run this course.

How long are classes?

Each lesson in 45 minutes long.
