Course Information

ETC International College offers internationally recognised Cambridge exams. ETC is an approved Cambridge test centre, so once you’ve prepared for your exam, you can sit the exam with us too. Our Cambridge exam preparation courses run in 12 week terms. Some courses require a minimum number of students for a course to run.

Cambridge IELTS

Almost all universities in English speaking countries require international students to have IETLS. ETC provides a stress-free, learning environment to help students prepare for and pass the exam.To take the IELTS course and exam, students must be a minimum of age 16 and their speaking level should be B2 level.

Cambridge B2 First

The B2 First exam assesses your ability and fluency at level B2 of the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference. To take the B2 First course and exam, students must be a minimum age of 16 and their English speaking level should be B2 level.

Cambridge C1 Advanced

Learn new techniques and strategies for dealing with some exam questions and tasks which may come up in the C1 Advanced exam. Students will review and consolidate their language skills by practising their grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. To take the C1 Advanced course and exam, students must be a minimum of age 16 and their speaking level should be C1 level.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long are classes?

Each lesson in 45 minutes long.

Our IELTS, B2 First and C1 Advanced courses offer 15 hours of tuition per week. Courses run in 12 week terms but you can study for as little or as long as you wish.

When can I start studying?

You can enrol at ETC from any Monday of your choice. On your first Monday at ETC you will take a test that will help us decide which level of classes you need. Some classes have a minimum number of students needed for a course to run.
