Our Tourism English course to help you develop your skills in real life situations. Whether you are a travel agent, tour guide, courier, or a hotel manager, the English course for tourism will allow you to communicate in English effectively in a range of business and tourism working environments. When undertaking this course, you’ll have a minimum of 10 lessons of Tourism English per week, plus 20 lessons of general English.
The Tourism English course is suitable for people who intend to take an examination such as the LCCI EB Written English for Tourism exam. You are given the opportunity to practise using the language that you have acquired during seminars, groups sessions and communicative practice activities.
The course will typically develop your English language in the following areas:
- Hotel services
- Food service
- Local tours
- Checking out
- Enquiries and reservations
- Tour operation – contacts
- Tour operation – planning
Standard – 30 lessons / 22.5 hours per week
A minimum of 10 lessons of Tourism English per week, plus 20 lessons of General English per week.
The ETC Tourism English course can be adapted to suit your needs. You can study Tourism English for a minimum of one week or as many weeks as you wish depending on the time you have available and your learning needs.
